I'm so in love with Mandarin worship songs!!! There is just a certain sincerity and genuineness to it that English ones can't exactly bring out.

Maybe it's because I'm a Chinese. *Grin* :)

Anyway, we learnt about the electrocardiogram (ECG) today. 

Basically, we have to know how to interpret it. I've skipped a few lectures on this so it's better not to share whatever knowledge I have. Lol...

It was quite funny, the lecturer shared this example...

A true case.
On a fateful night at East Coast Park, 2 lovers were kissing and stuff. What happened was, the girl was giving the guy lovebites on the neck. Apparently both were too engrossed or something... The guy DIED in the end.

How did that happen? =/

The girl was biting on a side of his neck, while using a hand to compress on the other side of the neck. Hence resulting in the occlusion (blockage) of the carotid arteries.

As you can see from the diagram, the carotid arteries supply blood to the brain. By compressing both sides of the neck, the brain couldn't receive much blood, resulting in death.

OMG. It was a freak accident. Must be traumatizing for the girl.

Be careful when kissing. Chill... :) (Don't kill... Lol...)

 

P.S: Ok I don't know how my lecturer managed to digress to that. Haha.
